New in 2024, our Georgetown LIVES Program offers a “HUB” designed to help our neighbors connect with other organizations that can assist them with their current needs.
While our daily meals program is a staple in the community, Friendship Place’s impact extends far beyond. A lot of our neighbors have insufficiencies in their lives. New in 2024, our Georgetown LIVES Program offers a “HUB” designed to help our neighbors connect with other organizations that can assist them with their current needs.
We assist with the application process and work to help connect our neighbor with agencies in the Georgetown area. By assisting our neighbors with this process, it helps them become more prepared when they visit an agency to address their day-to-day unmet needs and will help set them up for success. We are committed to providing an opportunity for all our neighbors to reach their full potential. We are focused on building relationships that encourage and build up everyone involved.
While we cannot make any guarantees, we will serve as a liaison between the organization and the community for services including, but not limited to:
Relocation & Transportation Assistance
Support for Utility Bills and Grocery Needs
Housing Security & Rental Assistance
Employment Application Assistance
Legal Documents & Identification
…add more!
