Since January of 2000 we have served
more than 214,000 meals and counting.
Serving warm meals for our neighbors five days a week
Georgetown EATS is a compassionate initiative dedicated to providing nourishing food to those in need within our community.
25 Years and Counting
Since 1999, Friendship Place has been providing hot meals to the Georgeotwn community in an atmosphere filled with peace and love. Whether facing food insecurity or simply seeking a boost to brighten their day, our neighbors can enjoy nutritious meals that are prepared in a chef style kitchen and served with care...just as one would in a restaurant.
Our neighbors value the non-judgmental atmosphere we provide, where they enjoy fellowship with others and participate in various special events and prize giveaways throughout the year.
Join us
Meals are served Monday – Friday from 11am – 12pm at 1423 Front Street in Georgetown, next to Livingston Auto.
Everyone is welcome to join us as a neighbor. All we ask is that you act like a guest in our home as we will always treat you like a guest in our home.
We are on the move!
The Mobile Food Drive Trailer is a donation drop-off space for food items to the EATS program that will travel throughout Georgetown County.
The Mobile Food Drive Trailer is searching for neighborhoods, organizations, businesses, events, and churches to host the trailer for several days to gather donations and provide take-home meals.
If you’d like to host a mobile food drive with the food drive trailer, please contact us!
Volunteer with Georgetown EATS
We’d love to have you join our volunteer team. Our kitchen operates under DHEC inspection standards. To ensure the safety of all involved, volunteers are required to complete an online food handler course, as well as undergo a South Carolina Law Enforcement Division Background Check.
